Privacy Policy
- There are no accounts and no sign-in, and we run no servers that collect your data.
- Your scores, coins, unlocked stages and settings are stored only on your phone.
- The game shows ads from Google AdMob. Google’s ad software collects some device data, including your advertising ID, to show and measure ads.
- We do not sell your data.
This policy explains what information the Spirit Runner mobile game (“the app”) uses, why, and the choices you have. The app is made by the independent developer Mouad_dev (“we”, “us”).

1. Information stored on your device
The app saves a few things in its private storage on your phone so the game remembers your progress:
- your best scores (the top 7 runs);
- the coins you have collected;
- which stages you have unlocked;
- your music, sound and vibration settings;
- how many times the app has been opened, which keeps full-screen ads away during your first session.
This information never leaves your device. We cannot see it, and it is not sent to us or to anyone else.
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app is free and shows ads through Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. The ads are a banner, a full-screen ad between runs, and optional reward videos you choose to watch to revive or to unlock a stage early. To show these ads, Google’s Mobile Ads SDK built into the app collects and sends to Google:
| Data | Examples |
|---|---|
| Device identifiers | Android advertising ID, app set ID |
| Approximate location | Estimated from your IP address (not GPS) |
| Device information | Phone model, Android version, language, screen size, network type |
| App interactions | Which ads were shown and tapped, app launches |
| Diagnostics | Crash logs and performance data from the ads SDK |
Google uses this information to deliver ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ad performance, prevent fraud and abuse, and, where the law allows it and you have agreed, personalize ads. Google’s handling of this data is governed by its own policies:
3. Your ad choices
- Consent: in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google’s consent form before ads are personalized. You can change your choice at any time from the game’s Settings.
- Turn off personalized ads: on Android, go to Settings › Google › Ads (or Settings › Privacy › Ads) and delete or reset your advertising ID. You will still see ads, but they will not be based on your interests.
- Manage Google ad settings: visit My Ad Center.
4. App permissions
- Internet access, to load ads.
- Advertising ID (
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID), added by Google’s ads SDK.
The app does not ask for your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or files. Vibration uses your phone’s built-in haptic feedback and needs no special permission.
5. Sharing and selling
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. Apart from the data Google’s ads SDK collects directly, as described in section 2, the app shares no information with anyone.
6. Keeping and deleting data
- Game progress stays on your phone until you delete it. Uninstalling the app, or going to Settings › Apps › Spirit Runner › Storage › Clear data, deletes it permanently.
- Advertising data is kept by Google under its retention policies. Resetting or deleting your advertising ID breaks the link to data collected before.
- Because we hold no personal data about you, we have nothing to delete on our side. If you have any question about your data, email us and we will help.
7. Children
Spirit Runner is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will help remove it.
8. Security
Your game progress is kept in the app’s private storage, which other apps cannot read. Google’s ads SDK sends its data over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, and to object to or limit how it is used. We do not store personal information about you. For data collected for advertising, you can use the choices in section 3 or contact Google. You can also email us, and we will answer within 30 days.
10. Changes to this policy
If the app starts using new services, for example crash reporting, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. Please check it from time to time.
